12.11.15 - Breaking News! Choice Support strategic partnership.

We’re delighted (and excited) to announce that Monkfish Productions CIC has teamed up with Choice Support, the leading national charity working with people with learning disabilities.

The new strategic partnership will further develop work in London and the north of England with Josephine and Jack, Monkfish’s innovative development resource for exploring sexual health and other personal issues with people with learning disabilities.

Both organisations are fully committed to full participation by people with learning disabilities in both delivering and developing new courses for Josephine and Jack and ensuring that the content is timely and relevant to their needs.

Signing the agreement in Newcastle, Thomas Doukas, Involvement Manager from Choice Support said: “ We’re delighted to be formalising a closer working relationship with Monkfish and with Josephine and Jack in particular. From our point of view, it enables us to develop work with our service users in areas of their lives which are really important to them and to have more of a presence in the North East of England. We’ve worked with the team for a number of years and it’s good to be extending the partnership.”

Claire Murphy-Morgan, Managing Director of Monkfish said “We know there’s a lot of demand for our services and the partnership with Choice Support will enable us to extend and grow that work”

The overall aims of the strategic alliance are to:

• Enable Choice Support to consolidate, develop and promote the offer it can make to clients in new geographical areas further North
• Enable Monkfish to develop a solid business base for the Josephine and Jack work with the support of a more experienced partner
• Enable both partners to source joint funding opportunities based on this partnership.

Josephine and Jack were not available for comment.
